The Peruvian Government has authorized the trips of Economy and Finance Minister Oscar Graham to the city of Davos, the Swiss Confederation, and New York City, the United States of America, from May 22 to 28, 2022.

Supreme Resolution No. 143-2022-PCM specifies that World Economic Forum (WEF) president invited the Peruvian government official to participate in the Annual Meeting to be held in Davos, from May 22 to 26.

Likewise, it indicated that the Economy-Finance minister will participate in a dinner with investors, organized by the Americas Society/Council of the Americas (AS/COA) and the Peruvian Embassy in the United States, in New York City on May 26.

Similarly, the document highlighted that WEF's Annual Meeting is the opportunity in which various personalities from politics, academia, and business sectors discuss future outlooks and scenarios on global economic development and the challenges it faces.

Moreover, the resolution emphasized that the working dinner organized by the AS/COA is held annually and aims to boost foreign investment in Peru, as well as disseminate the economic advantages provided by the Peruvian market —within the framework of its institutionalism and macroeconomic strength.

The Economy and Finance portfolio will be entrusted to Culture Minister Alejandro Salas, as of May 23, 2022, and for the duration of the portfolio holder's absence.
