The
Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) on Monday expressed its rejection of violence against the courageous police officers who, with a vocation of service, seek to restore internal order in the country.
Likewise, it reaffirmed the Government's commitment to ensure the provision of assistance to about 300 injured law enforcement agents.
"Our courageous police officers have a vocation to serve the country and work to restore internal order; therefore, we categorically reject the attacks against about 300 police officers, four of whom are seriously ill and one was admitted to ICU," the PCM reported via Twitter.
"We express our support and appreciation for their great work towards a country in peace," it stated.
