As part of Holy Week celebrations, theatre group better known as "Cristo Cholo" brought Jesus Baptism on stage last Thursday in Lima's district of Rimac.
Joined by district mayor, the national cast –led by national actor Mario Valencia– departed from Rimac's Municipality towards the district's Magic Water Circuit.
Jesus Christ Baptism representation drew the attention of attendees present at the place at noon.
The entire cast wore costumes alluding to Jesus' times.
After immersing his head in water, "Cristo Cholo" dedicated this performance to Peru's heavy rain-hit citizens.
On Friday, Valencia will reenact the traditional Via Crucis by walking up to San Cristobal hill's top in Lima.
