On March 6-13, Peru's country risk indicator —measured by the EMBIG Peru spread— registered 138 bps, Central Reserve Bank (BCR) has reported.
In the same period, the EMBIG Latin America spread fell 2 bps to 490 bps, amid Fed's statements.
Interbank interest rate
On March 13, the interbank interest rate in Peruvian Soles showed an annual rate of 2.75%, while this rate in US Dollars was 2.25%.
On the same date, the average 90-day corporate prime rate –the interest rate charged by commercial banks to lower risk businesses– in Soles stood at 4.06%, while the prime rate in US Dollars was 3.17%.
