Peru condemns deadly Kashmir attack

The Government of Peru voices its strongest condemnation of Thursday's terror attack on an Indian police convoy in disputed Kashmir.

In a press release issued by its Foreign Affairs Ministry, Peru reiterates its call upon the international community to strengthen its efforts against terrorism.

Likewise, the Inca nation extends its deepest condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of the Republic of India, as well as to the relatives of the victims.

Additionally, the Government wishes a speedy recovery to those hurt in the attack. 

The assault, which has left at least 37 dead, took place in Pulwama near the state capital Srinagar.

Said tragedy occurred when a car laden with explosives slammed into an Indian Central Reserve Police Force convoy
