Peru and Argentina underscore high level of bilateral relations

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea and his counterpart designated by Argentina, Diana Mondino, underlined the high level of bilateral relations between both countries.

This information was released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday.

During the meeting held in Buenos Aires, important regional topics were also discussed, and next steps of mutual interest were agreed upon.

As is known, Minister Gonzalez-Olaechea is in the southern country, where he will attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect Javier Milei on Sunday.

According to the resolution that authorized his trip, the Cabinet member will participate in various activities organized by the Embassy of Peru, such as work meetings with officials of the new Argentinean government, as well as with representatives of business and academic guilds.
