78% of Peruvians believe that
should remain in office and be investigated at the end of his term in office (July 28, 2021), according to a national poll by El Comercio-Ipsos published on Saturday.
This survey, conducted between October 21 and 23, includes Peru's rural and urban spheres.
Likewise, it indicates that 20% of citizens estimate that the President will be removed from office and replaced by the
head of Congress. Meanwhile, 2% do not specify their position.
Similarly, the latest results indicate that 54% approve of the current Head of State's performance, 41% disapprove of it, and 5% do not specify.
Within this framework, 60% of Peruvians disapprove of Congress' performance versus 32%.
The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,193 people, has a margin of error of +/- 2.84%, and a confidence level of 95%.
