Peru: 35% of target population received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported that 35% of the target population for COVID-19 vaccination in Peru has already received the two doses that prevent severe cases and death from the novel coronavirus.

So far, 24,652,540 vaccine doses have been applied in Peru. Out of that total, 14,929,976 were administered to first dose recipients, while 9,722,564 as second dose.

"This figure represents 35% of the target population," Minsa said in its daily report.
