In a bid to attract new domestic and foreign investors, authorities of Lima will present 191 tourism projects during the Third Tourism Investment Forum of the Macro Central Region which includes the regions of Ancash, Huánuco, Ucayali, Pasco, Junín and Lima.
Several government and business officials are expected to attend the Third Tourism Investment Forum which is to be held today and tomorrow in the Andean city of Huánuco.
One of the highlights of these projects is an archaeological tour around Lima’s northern tourist attractions including the 5000-year-old citadel of Caral.
This tour also features Aspero, Miraya and Lurihuasi archeological sites located at the mouth of the Supe river, 2.3 km from the ancient citadel of Caral; as well as the Vichama and Bandurria ruins in the Limean provinces of Huaura and Huacho, respectively.
Another major tourism project is the launch of the Route of Pisco in the Limean southern province of Cañete and surrounding areas where tourists can explore the processes for making wine and pisco.
