Lima 2019: Peru's Aco receives bronze in women's karate

Isabel Aco (PER) got karate bronze in Women's +68kg Kumite Semifinal at Lima 2019 Pan American Games on Sunday.

The Peruvian was defeated by Venezuelan Omaira Molina (2-5) on the occasion.

The event took place at Villa El Salvador Sports Center.

Local athletes' efforts have enabled Peru to claim several medals throughout the event.

So far, Peruvians have won 39 medals, including gold (11), silver (7), and bronze (21).
