After a 100% quick count, Accion Popular party leads
vote on Sunday, the latest media poll has projected.
According to America Television-Ipsos Peru, Accion Popular-AP obtained 10.1% of the votes, followed by FREPAP (8.9%), Podemos Peru (8.2%), Alianza Para el Progreso-APP (8.0%), Partido Morado-PM (7.5%), Fuerza Popular-FP (7.0%), Union Por el Peru (6.9%), and Frente Amplio (6.1%).
Somos Peru earned 5.6%, followed by Juntos Por el Peru (5.1%), Democracia Directa (4.2%), Partido Popular Cristiano-PPC (3.9%), Peru Libre (3.5%), and Partido Aprista Peruano-APRA (2.6%).
Trailing behind Avanza Pais received 2.5%, followed by Peru Patria Segura (2.3%), Vamos Peru (2.0%), Renacimiento Unido Nacional (1.7%), Peru Nacion (1.4%), Solidaridad Nacional (1.4%), and Contigo (1.1%).
Based on the results, the following parties may have representation in Congress: Accion Popular (24 seats), Alianza Para el Progreso (18), Union Por el Peru (17), FREPAP (16), Fuerza Popular (12), Frente Amplio (12), Podemos Peru (10), Partido Morado (9), Somos Peru (7), and Juntos Por el Peru (5).
An election exit poll is a poll of voters taken immediately after they have exited the polling stations. Unlike an opinion poll, which asks whom the voter plans to vote for, an exit poll asks whom the voter actually voted for.
It is worth noting polls are not conclusive and might differ from the final result.

Out of the total eligible voters, 23,825,154 live in Peru and 974,239 reside abroad, of which 650,010 are in the Americas, 281,640 in Europa, 36,288 in Asia, 5,980 in Oceania, and 321 in Africa.
