Indian Government offers scholarships to Peruvians

The Government of India —through the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme— provides short-term scholarships for Peruvian professionals wishing to expand their knowledge in diverse disciplines.

A total of 29 courses are available, including Engineering and Technology, Education, Artificial Intelligence, Environment and Climate Change, Telecommunication, Petroleum and Hydrocarbon, Women Empowerment, Trade, and International Market, among others. 

The different training programs will be held in 79 renowned institutions of the Asian country such as the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, as well as Indian Institute of Technology. 

Applications shall be submitted to the Inca country's National Program of Scholarships and Educational Loan (Pronabec) three months before the course begins. 

Pronabec is in charge of reviewing the documentation before its submission to ITEC. 

The scholarship covers air tickets, accommodation, living allowance, and course fees, among others. Visa application is free for the candidates. 

ITEC is a bilateral program of assistance of the Government of India. This initiative invites 161 countries to share in the Indian developmental experience acquired over six decades of its existence as a free nation.
