Former Peruvian volleyball team coach dies at 83

Former coach of Peru's volleyball team Man Bok Park has passed away, Olympic medalist Cenaida Uribe informed Thursday.

The Peruvian Volleyball Federation hired the South Korean Seoul-born Park in 1974. 

First, he was the technical assistant of coach Akira Kato and that same year he became the technical director of the women's team during the 1974 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Mexico. 

During his time as coach, the volleyball squad won several titles and medals, such as the silver medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
