The Peruvian national soccer team —led by Argentine coach Ricardo Gareca— will make its debut against Paraguayan counterpart in March during the South American Qualifiers heading for the
World Cup in Qatar 2022, it was announced during the draw held in the city of Luque on Tuesday.
Historically considered by many as the most difficult World Cup Qualifiers —of the six confederations that make up FIFA—
South America's Qualifiers will kick off in March 2020 and end in November 2021.
