The Peruvian actor and singer Christian Meier stars in "Vienes o me voy," (Are you coming or I leave?) a co-production between Spain and the Dominican Republic, which will premiere in Lima under the distribution of Star Films starting January 9, 2025 in theaters nationwide.

This feature film was showcased at the Málaga Film Festival and the Dominican Global Film Festival, receiving positive reviews that led to its international release.

Joining Meier are internationally renowned figures such as Charytín Goico, José Guillermo Cortines, Alejandra Alemany, Kira Miró, Jesús Olmedo, and Jorge Perugorría, among others.

The story that brings the film to life was written and is led by Spanish actress Davi Vega. In a romantic comedy format, it portrays the emotional experiences of a woman, her family, and friends.

Diana, a doctor addressing various issues related to sexuality, becomes the center where the characters’ lives intertwine, leading to a series of situations focused on the pursuit of love and motherhood at 40. A tale of entanglements where many will find something relatable.

The film was shot in the Dominican Republic in 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Davi Vega, who is both the actress and the screenwriter of the story, highlights the dedication and talent of the cast, "and the entire creative and technical team. I’m grateful to everyone involved for bringing this cinematic project to life," she says.

Davi Vega, known for her roles in ¿Subes o Bajas? and Silvana Sin Lana, considers producing this film a personal challenge. "It was my moment, and here I was given my first opportunity. I know there will be many more to come."

The actress and producer is excited about her role as a producer. "Doing something as complex as a feature film not only requires experience in the field—because everyone who works in this industry had to start with their first film—but also the instinct to know what might work or not. And that instinct comes from life experience."

"I always say that good decisions come from experience, and experience comes from bad decisions. And I’ve made plenty in my life," she concluded.
