Heavy metal legends Black Sabbath will play a concert in Lima, Peru, later this year.
News that the band will play in Peru was confirmed by Jorge Fernandez, who carried out negotiations for the concert.
Singer Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, and bassist Geezer Butler -the band’s original members- will play in Lima on October 16. Fellow heavy metal band Megadeth will open for them.
"We already have permission to announce the news," Fernandez said. "Black Sabbath will play in Lima on October 16, we will confirm the venue and ticket sales soon."
The concert will be the first time Black Sabbath plays in Lima, although Ozzy Osbourne played a solo show in the Peruvian capital in 2011.
According to Peruthisweek.com, the band will also tour other South American countries, playing shows in Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
