APEC 2024: Peru's Attorney General opens Anti-Corruption Authorities Network meeting

Peru's Attorney General Juan Carlos Villena on Wednesday inaugurated the 11th Meeting of the Network of Anti-Corruption Authorities and Law Enforcement Agencies (ACT-NET) held within the framework of APEC Peru 2024.


The above-mentioned event is taking place as part of the agenda of meetings of the APEC Anti-Corruption and Transparency Working Group.

Villena welcomed the representatives of the 21 economies that comprise the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum and highlighted cooperation actions aimed at clarifying corruption cases.

"In this regard, he reaffirmed that all events of alleged criminal relevance will be investigated by the Public Ministry," said institution reported on its official X account.


A total of 73 technical meetings on different areas will be held in Lima until March 8, as part of the first official event of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, whose Presidency is exercised by Peru this year.

Said meetings will take place at Lima Convention Center in San Borja district.
