Venezuelan citizen Angel Ramon Garcia Hernandez —member of the criminal organization "Tren de Aragua" (Aragua Train), who had been wanted by Interpol for multiple crimes— was expelled from Peru to Chile handcuffed and under extreme security measures on Thursday.

The subject, who was arrested in Lima on Wednesday, has a Red Code issued by Interpol Chile for the alleged murder of five (5) people in the neighboring country and an attempted homicide, spokesperson for the Peruvian National Police (PNP) reported.

PNP Criminal Investigation Director, General Marco Antonio Conde, explained that his departure from the country is in accordance with the current Immigration Law and coordination with the Chilean Police.

"The Homicide Investigation Division works in coordination with foreign police, in this case with Chilean police," Conde stated.

"Thus, our police agents managed to capture this subject in northern Lima, and that is why he is being expelled from our country today, taking him first to the city of Tacna; later, he will be handed over to Chilean Police," he added.

The Venezuelan citizen had been since 2018 in Peru, in the Huandoy zone of Lima's Los Olivos district, where he used to cut hair at a barbershop.

Chilean authorities say the 33-year-old criminal is believed to be linked to a quintuple murder that occurred in the city of Lampa, Chile, during the third week of July this year.
