The Executive Branch, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has appointed Ambassador Ana Rosa Valdivieso as the new permanent representative of Peru to international economic organizations based in Paris, France.

This is established by Supreme Resolution No. 190-2024-RE, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Thursday.

The regulation is based on Supreme Resolution No. 161-2024-RE, published last September, which provides for the opening of the Permanent Representation of Peru before international economic organizations.

The resolution published today approves the granting of credentials and full powers for the ambassador to carry out the assignment.

Likewise, it states that the date on which the diplomat must take up duties will be set by ministerial resolution.

The document was signed by the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte and countersigned by Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer.

Ambassador Ana Rosa Valdivieso has held positions such as Representative of Peru to the Organization of American States (OAS) and Secretary-General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She has been serving as Peru's High Representative for the process of Accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
