BCR Governor presented Peru's macroeconomic fundamentals in U.S.

Central Reserve Bank (BCR) Governor Julio Velarde presented Peru's macroeconomic fundamentals to investors in Washington, D.C., at working sessions that took place in parallel to the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB).


Julio Velarde was a speaker at the Emerging Markets Forum and sessions organized by J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, Banco Itaú of Brazil, BBVA, and the Americas Society/Council of the Americas, among others.


Paul Castillo presented a conference on emerging markets organized by Deutsche Bank.

In turn, Adrian Armas was a speaker at the Fintech Week, featuring topics such as the revolution of financial inclusion, and at a conference organized by XP Investments.

The IMF and World Bank meetings —held from October 21 to 26— brought together top representatives of central banks, finance ministries, multilateral organizations, and public entities, as well as leaders from corporations, organizations, and academia.
