Peru: President Boluarte leads Council of Ministers session

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte led a new session of the Council of Ministers at the Government Palace on Wednesday.

The meeting was also attended by Cabinet Chief Gustavo Adrianzen and other members of the Ministerial Cabinet.


Earlier today, the Head of State handed over protective equipment to the General Corps of Volunteer Firefighters of Peru.

Today, 620 self-contained breathing apparatuses were delivered, which will enhance firefighters' response capacity in the event of any incident.

Within this framework, the top official called for unity and indicated that it is crucial to "be one fist" in order to defeat crime.

Similarly, the Head of State emphasized that her government will not cease in its efforts to combat crime.

The president reaffirmed that her government is strongly committed to the progress and security of all Peruvians.

In this regard, she conveyed her solidarity with the citizens who are observing a strike.

"Today, several brothers and sisters are observing a strike. We stand in solidarity with their concern for a safer Peru, and we tell them that we will not cease in our efforts to combat crime through intelligence actions and operations by the Peruvian National Police," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
