The Government of Peru has extended its heartfelt condolences to the Government of the United States and the people of Texas for the victims of the recent floods that occurred in Kerr County, Texas.
In a statement,
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that the ongoing search efforts lead to the location of those still missing as a result of this natural disaster.
The government agency reported that it remains in constant coordination with the Consulate General in Houston in order to provide assistance and guidance to Peruvian citizens who may have been affected by this situation.

These support lines have been made available to respond to inquiries, handle requests for assistance, and provide timely support to Peruvians within that consular jurisdiction.
The Government of Peru reiterates its solidarity with the victims' families and all those affected by this climate-related emergency.
