The
reaffirmed her government’s commitment to working with the private sector and various institutions to foster the country’s development and benefit more Peruvians nationwide.
Mrs. Boluarte participated in the ceremony marking the 52nd anniversary of the Peruvian Exporters Association (ADEX) on Tuesday evening.
On this occasion, the top official stated that a strong economy means more investment, more jobs, and greater development opportunities to improve the quality of life for all citizens.
"Our government reaffirms today its firm decision to continue working alongside the private sector to keep driving the progress our homeland needs — progress that many of our fellow citizens felt was out of reach due to the negligence of previous administrations, but which we are now changing," Mrs. Boluarte said.
In this regard, she emphasized that the figures do not lie, noting that Peru has now recorded cumulative growth of 3.1% between January and May 2025, driven by domestic demand and the dynamism of exports.
"As of May, we have recorded 14 consecutive months of GDP growth, a reflection of our commitment to building a better Peru," Mrs. Boluarte said during her speech.
The Head of State also highlighted that exports totaled US$33.41 billion between January and May of this year, marking an increase of more than 22% compared to the same period in 2024.
"This growth is no coincidence, but the result of the joint efforts by our regions, producers, and companies. Peru is moving steadily toward establishing itself as a diverse and competitive export power," she emphasized.
The President expressed confidence that by the end of 2025, Peru will reach a record level of exports.
Similarly, she stressed that her government will continue creating conditions to expand the reach of Peruvian products in the global market.
"Let us all put our love, our efforts, and our dedication into moving our homeland forward; only through unity can we achieve growth," Mrs. Boluarte pointed out at the end of her speech.
