on Friday announced that since its launch, the Llamkasun Peru program has created 447,000 temporary jobs across 1,836 districts, benefiting more citizens.
“So far in 2025, we have promoted over 77,000 temporary jobs through 1,395 immediate intervention activities and 144 investment projects. That is how we work,” she said.
Speaking from Elias Soplin Vargas district in Rioja province, where she inaugurated the Plaza de Segunda Jerusalen, Mrs. Boluarte stated that Llamkasun Peru has reached 97% coverage.
Similarly, the top official pledged to reach 100% coverage by the end of her term.
"The numbers confirm that our commitment to promoting employment is real. Nothing here is made up," she stated.
The President highlighted that this temporary employment program enables single mothers, senior citizens, and young people to secure a job and transform their family’s lives, as an income helps enhance both Peruvians’ quality of life and future.
"We are going to allocate more funding to Llamkasun Peru. This park, built by you, is here; that is why we will continue to invest in more projects and more jobs," she said.
Health and education
The President stated that her administration’s priorities are education and health.
As part of that concern, more educational centers are being built across the country, equipped with advanced technology, laboratories, computer labs, libraries, and covered courtyards to protect students from the intense sun.
"But we are also building more hospitals and more health centers. We are committed to upgrading the classification of the Segunda Jerusalen health center, because we need hospitals to have doctors, specialists, nurses, and technicians who serve with dedication," she pointed out.
Addressing Llamkasun program beneficiaries and local authorities, Mrs. Boluarte pledged to work on paving the streets of this town through the temporary employment program and to facilitate the construction of an early childhood education institution.
She also announced that the Rioja province airport will be improved and expanded, allowing aircraft with a capacity of up to 180 passengers to land, thereby boosting the region’s development.
"As President, it is also my priority to enhance the value of our beloved Peru, because we need better airports, better roads, better ports, and better bridges," she concluded.
