Peru's President receives donation of 10 fire trucks from Japan's Government

The President of the Republic of Peru, Dina Boluarte, on Thursday received a donation of 10 fire trucks from the Japanese Government to support emergency response efforts.

These units will enhance the operational capabilities of the General Corps of Volunteer Firefighters of Peru (CGBVP) in the following regions: Huanuco, Madre de Dios, Piura, Ica, Lima, Loreto, Apurimac, and Callao, among others.

"This donation also symbolizes the enduring friendship between Japan and Peru, based on mutual trust and shared goals focused on safety, well-being, and risk prevention," the Presidential Office stated via social media.

The Head of State arrived in Japan, where she is carrying out a full agenda aimed at promoting investment, strengthening trade ties, and opening new opportunities for development cooperation for Peru.
