In her speech, the President expressed her gratitude for this event, which reaffirmed the strong commitment of both governments to continue strengthening the historic political, economic, and cooperative ties.
"Tomorrow, it will be a great honor to participate representing my country at Expo 2025 Osaka. This valuable opportunity for Peru will allow us to showcase our trade, investment, and tourism offerings to the world, as well as reaffirm our shared values in support of democracy, freedom, and peace," she emphasized.
At this bilateral meeting, which was also attended by Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer, important cooperation agreements were signed.
This event was precisely the result of the strengthening of bilateral relations, which was consolidated on November 17, 2024, when the Japanese Prime Minister made an official visit to Peru.
