During the session, Minister Leon highlighted the importance of deepening bilateral dialogue and exploring new areas of cooperation to boost commercial exchange and create greater opportunities in the tourism sector.
In this regard, the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Tourism was announced. Interest was expressed in strengthening trade relations between the two countries as well.
The session also provided an opportunity to review potential joint initiatives aimed at promoting Peruvian exports to the Middle East, as well as designing tourism experiences that incorporate both countries’ cultural and natural heritage.
It is worth noting that Ambassador Masadeh's visit takes place within the framework of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Peru and Jordan.
It will be marked by the issuance of a commemorative postage stamp on August 19.
This symbolic event represents the willingness of both governments to continue strengthening ties and reinforcing a comprehensive cooperation agenda.
Ambassador Masadeh will carry out a busy agenda of activities until August 21, including meetings with various authorities in Peru.
