Peru's President is received with honors upon arrival in Indonesia

The President of the Republic of Peru, Dina Boluarte, arrived on Sunday in Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, where she was received with military honors, marking the start of her State visit to the Asian country.

The Peruvian Head of State was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Elmer Schialer.

The top official will pursue an official agenda in Indonesia aimed at attracting investment and strengthening foreign policy.

The agenda includes the President's visit to the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and her participation in a business forum with entrepreneurs from the host country.

Subsequently, Mrs. Boluarte will head to the Presidential Palace. At the site, she will hold a bilateral meeting with her Indonesian counterpart, Prabowo Subianto.

She will also proceed with the signing of important agreements on comprehensive economic matters and exports with Indonesia.
