With the aim of promoting air connectivity between Peru and Türkiye, representatives from the
held a virtual meeting with Turkish Airlines senior officials.
The meeting —which also included representatives from Lima Airport Partners (LAP)— addressed all matters related to the possibility of establishing an air route between Peru and Türkiye.
In this regard, the Peruvian delegation highlighted the strong level of bilateral relations with Türkiye and the great potential for continued growth in the field of air connectivity.
Accordingly, firm support was expressed for the prompt start of Turkish Airlines' operations in Peru, highlighting its importance for tourism flows and the growing commercial exchange.
Representing Turkish Airlines were Vice President of International Relations & Alliances, Özlem Salihoglu, and her team.
Turkish Airlines is one of the most prestigious airlines worldwide. It has the largest international coverage, operating in 130 countries.
As part of Peru's strategy to strengthen its role as a commercial and logistical hub in the region, efforts are underway to promote new air routes and increase tourist flows, for which the arrival of new airlines in the South American country is essential.
