President meets with Peru's community representatives in Japan

The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, met today with representatives of the Peruvian community residing in Japan, at the South American country's Embassy in Tokyo.

"You are the ones who carry our culture, our traditions, our history. Wherever we may be, let us continue to raise the name of our beloved Peru," Mrs. Boluarte said during a warm exchange with representatives of said community.

During the meeting held at the Embassy in Tokyo, attendees expressed their gratitude for the government's efforts to secure visa exemption for fellow citizens visiting the Asian country.


Earlier today, the Head of State inaugurated the 16th Meeting of the Peruvian-Japanese Business Council (CEPEJA).
