"The leaders' meeting is held within the framework of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries and represents a key opportunity to finalize trade agreements and promote investments," the Presidential Office reported via social media.
Similarly, it represents an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with the aim of positioning Peru as a strategic partner of the Southeast Asian powers.
President Boluarte is undertaking a State visit to Indonesia. As part of this visit, the Head of State closed the Peru–Indonesia Business Forum.
Her agenda also includes a meeting with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Indonesian Parliament, Puan Maharani, and a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Kao Kim Hourn.
