BCR: Peru's 12-month inflation expectations down to 2.19% in July 2025

Twelve-month inflation expectations among economic analysts and the financial system fell from 2.28% in June to 2.19% in July of this year, remaining within the target range, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported.

"Likewise, in July all economic agents maintained their inflation projections within the target range for this year and the next two years," the issuing entity stated.

The BCR indicated that economic analysts lowered their projection from 2.20% to 2% for 2025, while the financial system reduced it from 2.20% to 2.15%. In turn, non-financial institutions kept it at 2.20%.

Projections ranged from 2.15% to 2.50% for 2026. 

For 2027, inflation is expected to range between 2.25% and 2.50%.
