Peru: Business expectations remain in optimistic range

In July 2025, almost all business expectation indicators recovered compared to June, and all are in the optimistic range, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) highlighted.

In its regular survey, the BCR indicated that the expectations indicator for the economy's performance over the next 3 months rose from 52.9 points in June to 54.5 points in July.

The 12-month expectations index increased from 56.6 to 58.3 points in the same period, within the optimistic range.

Regarding the sector's expectations, the 3-month index stood at 57.2 points in July, 2 points higher than the 55.2 points recorded in June.

In turn, the 12-month index rose from 60.3 to 61.6 points.

The expectations indicator for the situation of their companies over the next 3 months increased from 58.2 points in June to 60.3 points in July.

Meanwhile, the 12-month indicator rose from 65.3 to 67.7 points between the two months.

Regarding the demand for their products, this 3-month index increased from 61.6 to 62.1 points between June and July.

The 12-month expectations index grew from 68.8 to 69.7 points during the same period.

Likewise, the 3-month employment expectations index rose to 56.6 points in July of this year compared to the level recorded in June (56.1 points).

The 12-month expectations index increased from 59.6 to 62.5 points between June and July.

Meanwhile, the 3-month investment index for their companies declined from 59 points in June to 56.6 points in July, remaining within the optimistic zone.

The 12-month indicator increased to 66.7 points in the seventh month of 2025, after registering 64.2 points the previous one.
