From the official stand, the Head of State was joined by the heads of Congress and the Judiciary, as well as by senior officials from the Armed Forces, the National Police, and other State-run institutions.
This year's parade featured military and police units, civilian delegations, and representatives of social programs, all paying tribute to Peru's history, unity, and national identity.
Foreign delegations from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, France, and Italy also took part in the event.
The parade opened with a cultural display, followed by artistic performances such as the traditional Scissors Dance and Peruvian musical fusions.
It continued with the march of military groupings, including war veterans, as well as mounted, motorized, and aerial units.
Among those present were the Chavin de Huantar Unit, the Alto Cenepa combatants, and members of the Special Intelligence Group (GEIN) of the Anti-Terrorism Directorate (Dircote).
