The "Mobile Classroom" program, a joint initiative of the
, successfully concluded its tour in 2025, surpassing the goal of training more than 1,100 students from various regions in digital skills and fostering entrepreneurial ideas.
During this year, the Mobile Classroom visited six regions of the country: Tacna, Madre de Dios, Cusco, Apurimac, San Martin, and Piura, bringing technology, training, and opportunities to students in areas with limited access to digital infrastructure.
Thanks to this initiative, a total of 1,262 students participated in practical sessions focused on the use of digital tools, computational thinking, soft skills, and the development of technology-focused business ideas.
"Once again, the private company and the public institution are joining forces to improve learning. This allows us to benefit students in the fourth and fifth years of secondary school, and this synergy makes us even more committed," she stated.
Huawei Peru Public Relations Vice President, Allen Chen, reaffirmed the company's commitment to promote sustainable development in the country.
"This program represents our commitment to reducing the digital divide in Peru and promoting the development of society through technology and the promotion of digital talent. We are proud to have successfully completed the mobile classroom program once again," he noted.
Since its launch, the program has seen significant growth. In 2023, the Smart Truck arrived and 300 students were trained.
In 2024, both the number of trained students and the regions visited increased, reaching 1,059 students and 7 regions.
With over 1,200 students trained this year, the program has benefited more than 2,600 students over this 3-year period.
Thus, Huawei Peru and the Ministry of Education reaffirm their commitment to continue working to reduce the digital divide in the country, promoting equitable access to information technology and educational opportunities in all corners of Peru.
