The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, is scheduled to make an official visit to Japan and a state visit to Indonesia, with the aim of promoting investment, strengthening trade ties, and opening new opportunities for cooperation to support Peru's development, directly benefiting families in the South American nation.

This trip is part of the Government's strategy to boost the national economy, create jobs, and strengthen the country's presence in highly competitive international markets.

In this regard, the top official submitted a request to Congress for authorization to leave Peru from August 5 to 12, 2025, in order to carry out the scheduled visits to the cities of Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, and Jakarta in Indonesia.

This initiative will ensure Peru is actively represented before key strategic partners in Asia.
