on Friday highlighted the budget execution level of ministries and Central Government entities during 2024, which amounted to S/143.170 billion (about US$38.129 billion).
Through his X account, the Cabinet chief specified that said amount represents a 95% execution rate of the Modified Institutional Budget (PIM) allocated to said institutions.
"I congratulate all ministries and Central Government entities for achieving 95% execution (S/ 143.170 billion) of their PIM in 2024. We will achieve a better result this 2025," he expressed.
The high-ranking official also shared a graph showing the total execution percentage of the Central Government's public budget in over the past 6 years in relation to the PIM.
According to the chart, the 95% achieved in 2024 is the highest percentage during said period, surpassing the following rates: 94.6% in 2022 and 93.8% in 2023.
In 2019, 2020, and 2021, the figures reached were 90.6%, 89%, and 91.4% of the PIM, respectively.
