on Monday noted there are negotiations on Free Trade Agreement (FTAs) that could be implemented in 2025 with the respective tariff benefits.
The government official noted that Peru is in the fourth negotiation round with Indonesia.
"We envision that we can have a new FTA with that country," the Cabinet member stated.
"For Indonesia, Peru's export services are relevant, along with agricultural products such as blueberries, mangoes, and asparagus, as well as textiles, leather, and footwear," Leon told TVPeru.
In parallel, Peru is working on the FTA implementation with Guatemala, as well as on FTAs with El Salvador, Uruguay and India, she indicated.
"We hope these FTAs will be successful, so that we can have new FTAs in 2025," Leon projected.
