Peruvian delegation looks for innovations from Finland mining industry

Peruvian mining executives took part in a mining promotion conference exploring innovations from Finland.

Entitled "Peruvian mines look for new innovations from Finland," the seminar took place on March 18 within the framework of a Peruvian mining business mission to the Nordic country. 

The event was co-organized by Niina Fu Business Consulting in Latin America and the Finnish-Latin American Business Association, in collaboration with the Peruvian Embassy in Finland.

About 50 representatives of Finnish mining firms and public institutions, as well as a Peruvian delegation of mining executives, attended the conference.

The event was aimed at highlighting the strengths of Finland's mining industry, as well as Finnish companies' supply of technology, equipping items, and services for the mining sector.

Peruvian Ambassador to Finland Thierry Roca-Rey delivered a speech.

Additionally, the meeting featured Finnish-Latin American Trade Association Honorary Chairman Tapani Järvinen and Finnish-Latin American Business Association CEO Pekka Suomela.

At the end, Finnish and Peruvian entrepreneurs exchanged information on the existing business opportunities for both sides.
