Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen participated in the AI Action Summit in Paris, where he held meetings with international organizations and authorities to strengthen the implementation of Peru's National Policy on Digital Transformation.

As part of his agenda, Adrianzen presided over a gathering with World Bank Digital Transformation Global Director, Christine Zhenwei Qiang, and the Secretary of Peru's Government and Digital Transformation Secretariat.

The meeting aimed to strengthen the implementation of the National Digital Transformation Policy, with emphasis on AI use for inclusive development.

Moreover, the Peruvian Cabinet chief held a meeting with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, as well as with other authorities and high-ranking officials participating in the AI Summit.

At these gatherings, opportunities and challenges for responsible AI regulation were discussed.

Adrianzen also met with UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, Gabriela Ramos. They discussed the implementation of the UNESCO RAM instrument in Peru.

With UNESCO's support, this instrument's implementation will assess the country's AI readiness and strengthen policies aligned with international standards.

During the conversation, the two dignitaries underscored the recent meeting between Peruvian President Dina Boluarte and Panamanian President Jose Raul Mulino at the World Economic Forum (WEF 2025), highlighting the historic relationship and constructive approach between both countries.
