Prior to her arrival in the People's Republic of China, Peruvian President Dina Boluarte virtually led from Paris the first working meeting with Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzen, based in Lima.

In the French capital, the Head of State was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea and Presidential Office Secretary-General Enrique Vilchez.

Within the framework of this State visit, Mrs. Boluarte's work agenda includes important political and business meetings in the strategic cities of Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing.

On June 28, Peru's top official will meet with China's highest authorities, including President Xi Jinping.

The People's Republic of China maintains ancient ties of friendship and cooperation, high level political-diplomatic and economic-commercial relations with Peru, which have resulted in a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and a Free Trade Agreement that is in the process of being updated.
