on Thursday estimated that the appointment of Petroperu board members could be ready next week.
"I hope that next week we will have the designation of each member of the Petroperu board," he told RPP Noticias.
Adrianzen said he preferred not to make further comments, as "there is a lot of speculation."
"We prefer to maintain confidentiality until we have confirmations," he indicated regarding who the new directors of the aforementioned company could be.
The Cabinet chief made these remarks from the northern city of Talara, where he arrived to assess the situation of the refinery located in that area.
"I am interested in speaking with the operations manager to find out directly what the situation is," Adrianzen stated.
The government official also said the visit he is making along with the ministers of Economy and Energy-Mines is part of the process of forming a new board of directors for Petroperu —the State-owned company that manages the complex.
Petroperu is a company owned by the Peruvian State under private law. It is dedicated to the transportation, refining, distribution and sale of fuel and other products derived from oil.
