Interior Ministry in Lima's San Isidro district.
Among the donated items are jackets, boots, along with other important gear for fighting fires.
More than S/12 million (above US$3.19 million) was spent on the purchase of these materials.
In addition, these items meet all the quality standards necessary to handle various disasters.
The ceremony was attended by Interior Minister Juan Jose Santivañez; Brigadier General Juan Carlos Morales, Commander General of the Fire Department; as well as police authorities.
