Andina News Agency will disseminate official information on the APEC Peru 2024 Leaders' Summit, according to the collaboration agreement signed by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State-run publishing company Editora Peru on Tuesday.

The agreement was signed by Ambassador Carlos Chavez-Taffur, Chairman of the APEC Peru 2024 Presidency Working group, and Felix Paz, General Manager and Director of News Media at Editora Peru.

The document also provides for the dissemination of official information through the Official Gazette El Peruano in Spanish and English versions.

Ambassador Carlos Chavez-Taffur said the signing places the seal on the inter-institutional collaboration that started at the beginning of this year in preparation for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Week, which —he underlined— is the most important event during the forum presidency.

In turn, Felix Paz emphasized that the agreement is of utmost importance as it allows Editora Peru, through Andina News Agency and the Official Gazette El Peruano, to bring to the public the activities conducted by the special commission leading the organization of APEC.

Through Andina News Agency, greater and faster dissemination of the activities conducted during APEC Leaders' Week set to take place in Lima from November 9 to 16, 2024— will be guaranteed.

Peru is hosting APEC for the third time after the 2008 and 2016 editions.
