Presidency: Peru records lowest inflation in region

Peru recorded the lowest inflation rate (1.5%) in the region in February 2025, well below Colombia (5.3%), Brazil (5.1%), and Chile (4.7%), the Presidency of the Republic highlighted on Thursday.

This information was shared through the Presidency's official account on the X platform.

"Good news for the Peruvian economy! Peru recorded the lowest inflation in the region in February 2025, at just 1.5%, well below Colombia (5.3%), Brazil (5.1%), and Chile (4.7%)," reads the post.

The Presidential Office also stated that this result reflects stability and better conditions for Peruvian families and businesses.

"Let's keep moving forward!" it added.
