During this meeting, the Head of State received reports from the zones affected by forest fires in various Peruvian regions.
Afterwards, the regional directors of Indeci in Ancash, Cajamarca, Amazonas, among other regions, did the same, reporting on the actions they are carrying out to extinguish forest fires.
It was also reported that, after concluding this dialogue with the officials responsible for managing emergencies in regions, the president and State ministers will continue with the Council of Ministers session held every Wednesday.
Cabinet Chief Gustavo Adrianzen, as well as the heads of various sectors, will participate in the session.
The Council of Ministers meeting at COEN headquarters is intended to coordinate and supervise the actions taken to mitigate the disasters affecting flora and fauna in various regions.
As is public knowledge, forest fires have been occurring in various areas of Peru for several days now, and are being confronted by national authorities.
