IAI ELTA Systems Ltd. signed a
Specific Industrial Offset Agreement that will strengthen the Navy's capacity in the field of cyberspace, contributing to enhancing the operational capabilities of cyber intelligence within the Naval Intelligence System.
The establishment of this new Cyber Intelligence Training and Education Center will enable the training of cyber soldiers, tasked with acquiring information and knowledge useful for the analysis and strategic operational planning of the State-run institution.
The professionals graduated from this center will be trained to carry out actions and operations aimed at neutralizing threats that could affect naval operations and others in charge of the Navy.
In addition, the agreement includes knowledge transfer, which will allow for increasing technical capabilities in cyber intelligence of areas dedicated to cyberspace exploitation. This transfer will contribute to raising the operational level of Naval Intelligence functional area components.
The scheduled courses will include advanced knowledge that cannot be acquired in person in Peru and will be taught by a leading foreign institution in this field.
The instructors, with military experience in cyber defense and cyber intelligence, will provide practical training based on real combat experience in cyberspace.
