The Peruvian Government deems it necessary to invest in education and talent related to artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure that this technology serves as a tool for the country’s inclusive progress.
At the international gathering, the Cabinet chief reinforced Peru's presence in the global debate on AI use and regulation, as well as digital transformation.
At this event, he emphasized the importance of having a regulatory framework that promotes technological development while safeguarding key rights such as privacy and freedom of expression.

In Paris, the Prime Minister also held talks with
OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann,
discussing the global significance of AI and its application in the organization's member countries, as well as in Peru.
The two officials highlighted the recent meeting at the World Economic Forum (WEF) between President Dina Boluarte and her Panamanian counterpart, Jose Raul Mulino, describing it as a constructive approach to the historic relationship between both nations.
Thus, the Peruvian Government reaffirmed its commitment to proposing initiatives that promote AI in the service of sustainable development and to continuing its collaboration with other global stakeholders to build a more inclusive future.
