Editora Peru signs cooperation agreement with China's CCTV+

The Peruvian State-owned publishing company Editora Peru signed on Thursday a "Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation" with Chinese agency CCTV News Content Co. Ltd. (CCTV+), which specializes in video content production, with the aim of disseminating news content.

The signing, held at Editora Peru's headquarters in Lima, was officiated by CCTV+ General Director Gao Wei and Editora Peru's News Media Director and Acting General Manager, Felix Paz.

The memorandum seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two media outlets, including training and participation in media seminars in China, as well as the dissemination of high-quality multilingual television programs and documentaries.

It also includes co-production opportunities and content exchange within the framework of the "Global South Media Partners" mechanism, with the aim of achieving mutually beneficial cooperation.

In this regard, and within the framework of the "Global South Media Partners" mechanism, technological guidance will be provided, along with access to and use of CCTV+'s content distribution platforms.

Similarly, CCTV+ will be able to use content produced by Editora Peru's media outlets: Andina News Agency and the Official Gazette El Peruano.
