Peru's participation was declared of sectoral interest by the National Government, in recognition of its strategic relevance for the promotion of mining and technological investments in the South American country.

Peru will also seek to strengthen its ties with Australian METS (mining equipment, technology, and services companies), with a view to incorporating innovations that enhance a modern, efficient, and sustainable mining industry.
Peru's participation will be based on the following strategic pillars:

· Access new technologies developed in Australia and generate technical cooperation.
· Establish strategic alliances with institutional investors, multilateral organizations, and global industry leaders.

The event will also feature a 36-square-meter institutional stand located at the International Convention Centre Sydney, where attendees will be able to access technical information, maps, project catalogs, and investment opportunities available in Peru.
IMARC is the leading mining and resources event in the Asia-Pacific region, annually bringing together more than 8,000 delegates from over 120 countries. These include investors, mining company executives, technology manufacturers, international organizations, and governments.
